Initiative X: What We're About

As students in a changing political climate, we have a responsibility be both socially and politically aware of the ramifications of our actions. Our beliefs cannot be based on single issues, but rather must be founded in ideological traditions supplemented by initiative and action.

At Initiative X, our goal is to foster the type of environment where students can take their beliefs, discuss the issues important to them, challenge the static, apathetic nature of their peers, and learn how to effect change in their societies. We tie politics to actions.

Soon, we'll start to discuss specific issues. We are not a politically affiliated organization; therefore, we will hear opinions from, as our new President is fond of saying, "both sides of the isle." As we delve into topics like social reforms, public health, housing projects, and other social issues relevant to communities across the country, we intend to provide followers with political insights and members with action opportunities. We hope you will join us in this fight not for the "right" politics or the "right" policies, but for a world that has rights for all.
